The year 2020 was tough, a total shutdown for the travel industry. We spent hours watching the horrific news with fear. We covered our faces with masks to be safe, hoping the pandemic will end soon.

We decided to not do it again this year. We closed the OX Office in Kuwait, packed up our things, and embarked on a new journey.

On the 23rd of October, 2020, we travelled to our first destination: Konya, Turkey. There were no restrictions needed to travel there, and we were excited to learn more about Sufism.

We stayed at Hichane, owned by Mustafa, a previous Sufi Dervish; a creative soul with a unique sense of design, inspired by the Islamic culture and art in Konya.

The amount of knowledge and depth in Konya was overwhelming. At that point, we needed silence, so we went to Cappadocia.
